The Hotel de Ville Collection is named after the HdV metro station in the heart of Paris. The building has served as the city’s government headquarters since 1357. In 1874, the building was renovated in the Renaissance style inspired by Chateaux of the Loire Valley. This is where the Mayor lives and where large receptions are regularly hosted. Formerly a gently sloping beach, the site served as a river port for unloading wheat and wood.
