  • Daalder

    Created for a Cafes Legal, a master coffee roaster in France established in 1851. Featuring the lion, a classic icon symbolizing bravery, nobility, royalty, strength, stateliness, and valour.

  • Domini

    This medallion carries religious and monetary overtones. Inscribed with “May the name of the Lord be blessed” and feaures Louis XV’s profile on the back. Originally released in the year 1764.

  • Empire

    Styled like a five francs coin from 1862, this medallion was produced for Orangina, a popular citrus beverage in France. Originally invented at a trade fair in France, it was first sold in French Algeria in 1935.

  • Penser Brass

    Originally created for a bank founded in 1812 by the Varin-Barnier family with locations throughout Eastern France and Paris. This medallion features classic French icons and the verbiage “Plus Penser Que Dire” which translates to “Think Twice Before You Speak”.

    A historic lodge located near the capital of Alsace., by the German and swiss borders. The town of Colmar is a picture perfect location despite a turbulent past. It is now a protected area with buildings’ heritage dating back to the middle ages.

    Originally created to celebrate the Science of Agriculture in the late 1800’s. Sculpted by the prolific French artist, lphee Dubois, who beautifully captured a mother and her daughter in the fields during harvest.

Shipping and exchanges

All French Kande is handmade to order and currently takes up to six business days to build, in addition to shipping time. After your order is created and shipped out, you will receive an email with tracking information.

We accept exchanges within 21 days of purchase, we do not accept returns. All custom orders are final sale, no exchanges or returns. All damages or shipment discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of shipment; either by phone or email. Contact us if you have any questions.

International orders are subject to additional shipping.

Jewelry care and warranty

French Kande is plated in sterling silver, gold and brass, all hand-finished by California artisans. Many feature color variations and blemishes that contribute to their one-of-a-kind aesthetic. Keep your Kande dry and free of oils and fragrances to maintain the finish's integrity. Should it patina over time, use a polishing cloth to revive its luster. Do not use cleaners or polishing compounds as it will remove the oxidation resulting in a brightened, shiny finish.
